American Popular Music
This series seeks concise, well-written, classroom-friendly books that will be useful to students and teachers and accessible to general readers. Although the series is open to a diverse range of approaches, including interdisciplinary studies, the editors are particularly interested in manuscripts and proposals in the following areas: critical biographies of figures in American popular music; analytical institutional histories; crucial moments in music history; music as it is experienced and appropriated.
