General Fund
The University of Massachusetts Press has served communities of readers, scholars, and creative writers for the past six decades. Gifts from generous individuals and our authors make it possible for us to publish timely and vital titles that make a lasting impact on our society and our world.
You can make a gift to the Press online, or if you prefer to send a check, it should be mailed to:
University of Massachusetts Press
671 N. Pleasant St.

Your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.
Many of our projects require additional financial support to cover special costs associated with publication. If you or your organization are interested in endowing an individual title, a book series, an internship, or a digital project, please contact Mary Dougherty at [email protected] to discuss customized giving options.
Regional Books Fund
In 2017, UMass Press launched a new imprint, Bright Leaf, which publishes insightful and accessible books about New England.
Written for a popular audience, Bright Leaf titles tell stories—about New England’s history, culture, and environment, and about New Englanders themselves. Treating topics that range from the history of slavery and whaling to architecture, birding, and the natural world, Bright Leaf books entertain and inform. It comes as no surprise that these titles have received awards and garnered attention from major media outlets like the Boston Globe, The Portland Press Herald, Publishers Weekly, the New York Times, Book TV, NPR, VPR, and New England Public Radio.
Please donate to our Regional Books Fund now to help us continue publishing vital and entertaining books about New England.
