Our deepest condolences go out to the friends, family, and colleagues of Professor Arthur F. Kinney (1933–2021). Dr. Kinney was a talented scholar and the author and editor of numerous books, including Renaissance Reflections, Humanist Poetics, and Rogues, Vagabonds, and Sturdy Beggars, which were published by the University of Massachusetts Press. It was our honor to work closely with with him to bring new, interdisciplinary scholarship to publication with the Massachusetts Studies in Early Modern Culture book series, which he oversaw for over twenty-five years.
